Unlikely. I'm moving on from Battletech to something else (but equally awesome). I'm pretty sure I'll never model anything battletech related again for a long time, but I'll probably still push out a few pictures when I have the time.
I love the camo pattern on the mechs. Also, the imaging makes me think of the mechs actually being watched through a HD spy drone. Makes me want a remake of the scene with some sort of info overlay ('mech type identified, speed, position, heading, technical readout of mechs, etc.) But that's just me being greedy. You already have a 4 hour render there, I can understand why you wouldn't want to do that again.
What people were saying about the reflection of light from the water is basically the final piece that would make this even more brilliant. That's essentially all this needs. Now I don't know if the program is stopping you from doing this and such, but still, this could REALLY use it. Other than that, great work! ^^
very f****** cool reminds me of a number of mission in the mechwarrior series but most recently of the mission to challenge the Jade Falcons in MW4. You captured both the environment of the tropics as well as the terrain and it's effect on the units involved. Great work man!
Waves. Not ripples. It's note easy describing the difference. You have massive mechs stomping through a river, the water should be much more agitated. If you have ever watched a person or you yourself have waked through knee high water you would understand.
