Warhammer. A 70t Inner sphere battlemech. This too is for the MekPak by MekTek and will probably be my last mech for it. I decided to update the aging model already included in the MekPak with this one.
If you haven't figured out already, this is my favorite mech in the Battletech universe. And for the love of god don't inform me of the origins of this design. I'm well aware it's originally from Macross.
How I did it:
1. Made a highish detail model of this mech.
2. Rendered every piece from all angles.
3. Made the same model again, this time using only approx. 3000 polygons.
4. UV mapped the low polygon model.
5. Made textures for the model using the rendered images.

This model is to be used in a mod for Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries. The mod in question is made by MekTek.
This mech will be featured in the last edition of the mod.
Be informed that the game engine this model is for is about 5 years old and was outdated even back when it was first used in Mechwarrior 4. That is why it doesn't use any advanced features such as bump mapping etc.
The only feature the textures have is a working alpha channel so that different camo textures can be applied on the mesh.
